This short, meandering route through the forest is perfect for the family. With ample parking and toilet facilities at the start point.
Gwydir Trail
The Gwydyr Trail is a proper mountain bike trail in every sense of the term. Big climbs, big descents, brilliant singletrack and truly awesome scenery make this a trail to remember.
Tough at the Top
Well here is a trail that lives up to its name. Taking you from the picturesque lake at the sheltered Bod Petryal picnic site right up to the exposed moorland that surrounds Llyn Brenig.
The Two Lake Tour
This great route takes you from the village of Llanfihangel GM on a tour through Clocaenog Forest up to the Alwen Reservoir.
Llandegla Black
There are a series of black runs (6km) which are accessible only from the Intermediate Route. Together, the red and black routes comprise of 21km of trail.
Cilcain Short
This short ride from Cilcain up to the ridge of the Clwydian Range gives impressive views over the Vale of Clwyd towards Snowdonia.
Along the Seafront
This semi-urban circular route navigates its way from Brickfields Pond in Rhyl, to the Sea Front.
Llandegla Red
If you are a proficient mountain biker with a high skill level then you must try this fantastic route. This trail shares the same gradual ascent through the forest with the ‘Moderate’ (blue) route.
